One World Founder visits clubs in South America

In Acapulco, Joe visited both our existing youth clubs and presented to educational leaders in Acapulco on the challenges of technology and helping prepare students to be future ready. This presentation was well received with additional 8 teachers volunteering to incorporate One World Youth Clubs into their citizenship classes bringing the total number of clubs in Acapulco to 12.

In Mexico City the highlight of the trip was the graduation ceremony put on by the 3 schools from Cuidad Nessa where 180 students participated in a year end graduation ceremony capped with folkloric dancing, the distribution of diplomas and a rendition of the song Imagine in both English and Spanish. While touring the clubs various One World exhibits we were all moved by the response from a 10 year old who we asked what did you learn in your One World Youth Club? The reply came back without hesitation: “I learned how to change the world”.
