2023
A Community of Learning & Practice:
Climate Change & Education
Building from 2022, this year we focused on Climate Change and Education. Teachers first heard from esteemed professionals in the sphere, with time to engage in conversations with those professionals. Then, teachers had the opportunity to collaborate with one another to not only share practices with one another, but collaborate on developing learning opportunities for their students within the classroom.
The cohort evaluated how climate change is taught in schools in various communities around the world, including the communities in which members reside, through the preparation and distribution of a short survey for teachers, educators, and students to complete.
