Get Students Future Ready

K-12 school programming designed to prepare students for the 21st century

Global Competence Enrichment

Our flagship program

Our longest running program is centered around teaching global competence and character education through a series of activities and lessons. It incorporates Global Connections and Our Sustainability mini programs for a comprehensive educational experience. It can be delivered in the form of an After School Club or integrated into the mainstream classroom.

Global Connections

In this signature program, we deliver a curriculum that bring our three future ready competencies together into a single global classroom for an accelerated course. Our Global Classrooms connect Students around the World

Sustainability Series

Our Sustainability Series is designed to help inspire students to be agents-for-change within their local communities. Classrooms can choose from our robust series to create the right combination of materials to target their classroom needs.

Technology Awareness

In this exiting pilot program, we will lead a series of educators discussions designed to inspire conversations that educators can then bring back to their classroom to prepare students for the opportunities and challenges in a world of exponential technological change.

Financial Education

Using the stock market as our window to the world, we teach students financial literacy, career readiness, stock markets skills and entrepreneurship. We introduce new economy concepts and build career ready skills for the 21st century.

It is a pleasure and honor to be able to greet you on behalf of the “Nicolás Sojos” School. We would like to extend our gratitude for including us in participating in the “Global Connections” program. From our perspective, we consider it very enriching and rewarding to be able to participate with our students in your program, social interaction as part of the educational process is transversal to positively improve development with their peers from other countries and the environment in which they operate, as well as self-confidence, oral and communicative expression, which is within the framework of the construction of their own learning.

Participating in such an important program as “Global Connections” makes it more palpable for students to understand that we are not isolated beings, but an integrating part of diverse cultures and societies with multiple thoughts, but at the same time united by the immanence of being human, purposeful and assertive interpersonal relationships. We hope to continue actively participating in this important program in the future, for all of the above, we express our most sincere thanks and wish success in everything outlined by One World.

Mr. Cristian Quezada, Assistant Principal at Escuela de Educación Básica

The children found the whole experience amazing in their words. They were excited from start to finish and were dismayed when it did finish. Some of our One World children have never had the opportunity to travel so have not experienced other cultures and their countries. It was a fantastic way for the to meet different children and get to understand their culture. The experience also taught them that no matter where we are from, we all feel the same way about our planet and that by coming together we can find ways to restore our beautiful world. They hope that it will not be too long before we can meet our new friends again.

Ms. Helen Hughes, Teacher at Ysgol Maesglas

The Elmsford Union Free School District is grateful for partners such as One World United & Virtuous. Over the past few years, we have expanded opportunities for our students that we believe will give them the means to compete. Moreover, these experiences will better prepare them for the future. Having our students  “One World Future Ready” helps build a growth mindset that promotes building a better future. Our experiences with our global partners from One World and the connections made to the EUFSD Dual Language program have been remarkable. Providing students with a virtual space to collaborate and learn with their peers from around the world is the pinnacle of  21st century skill building.
