One World + Westchester Green County USA

One World is the proud parent organization of the student led initiative Westchester Green County USA. The mission of WGC is to help students, teachers and administrators MEASURE, REDUCE, & OFFSET our school’s carbon emissions through the Dual Pledge, no matter where you are in the world. Addressing sustainability and climate change will very likely be one of the largest challenges of our lifetimes.

The Westchester Green County USA project is being led by three talented and passionate student leaders; Isabella Jabber, Riddha Lyengar and Sophia Alexandrou who are working closely with an Advisory committee that include One World founder, Joe Carvin as well as many committed community members, climate activists, non-profit leaders and elected officials All are committed to propelling Westchester and the world forward.
