Technology Awareness Program
Helping students discover the power and influence of technology
It is fundamentally important for students to understand where technology is taking them.
Technology is growing and changing our world in fundamental ways. This program will cover several key concepts of twenty-first century technology education including exponential change, critical concepts like Moore’s law, and ethical use of technology. Students utilize opportunities to use AI, ranging from research and academic projects to using entrepreneurship to build their own prototype and company.
Programming & Support
Technology Awareness is offered for grades 6-12 and can be delivered directly during class time or as a club. Lessons are scaffolded and involve project-based learning.
Instruction
Can be delivered virtually by a One World Facilitator or Train-the Trainer model.
Model
Can be delivered directly in the classroom, after-school or during lunch-time clubs
