This Thursday, we will celebrate our fifth annual World Environment Day event from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Alongside our outstanding student presenters, we are excited to announce a new partnership with the Business Council of Westchester’s Clean Energy Action Coalition (CEAC).
For five years, our student-led initiative has focused on driving local climate action and promoting sustainability. Today, given the rapid pace of technological change—and the clean energy infrastructure required to power it—our communities must now also prepare for the impacts of Artificial Intelligence.
Going forward, Westchester student leaders will encourage municipalities, schools, businesses, and NGOs to develop a unified “Future Ready” action plan that sets clear strategies for both climate change and AI. By combining environmental stewardship with forward-thinking tech literacy, we can ensure our communities thrive.
