Perhaps the best way to understand our thinking relative to the future, as it relates to our podcast and our first online book, is to read these Two Letters from the Future.
The overarching goal of our online book is to help our readers develop what Leopold Aschenbrenne called “situational awareness” relative to the dramatic advances in AI technology so that we can work together to maximize the chances of a smooth transition to Super Abundance: Situational Awareness June 2026

To that end, we have created projects and activities intended to bring situational awareness to the general public, both on a global level and at the local level
The Great Transition Challenge
While the futurists paint a rosy picture of the future, they do not tell us how we transition from 193 competing nation-states armed ot the teeth and informed by a zero-sum scarcity mindset to the world of abundance they predict. This challenge seeks to generate a conversation on the future of humanity with participants designing roadmaps of how we get from here to there.
Communities 2050
We want to be clear, we are NOT advocating for the Supersonic Tech Tsunami hurdling our way. We view ourselves as someone predicting the weather and believe it woud be unconscionable to see the Tsunami over the horizon as clearly as we do and say nothing. In our view, we will need to radically transform the way we govern, educate, and do business across every community on the planet. Those communities that learn to surf the Tsunami will have the potential to flourish and those that don't risk being left behind.
The Case for Sustainable Super Abundance
The conclusion we reach in our book is that Sustainable Super Abundance is technologically achievable. We definite Sustainable Super Abundance as a post-scarcity, solved world of universal high income where we will have eliminated poverty, hunger, disease, and the need to work.

Google DeepMind Founder Demis Hassabis explains that with ongoing breakthroughs like the one he did at AlphaFold and the ones he is creating now at Isomorophic labs, we can bring an end to disease in about ten years.

AI’s Double-Edged Sword: P Doom
In evaluating AI it is important to understand that the development AI is a double-edged sword in that in addition to creating Sustainable Super Abundance it also had the potential to bring an end to humanity.
