One Worlders in Wyandanch, NY Host a Food Drive

Martin Luther King Elementary School in Wyandanch, NY hosted a Thanksgiving food drive to help families in their community!

Service Learning projects provide students with the opportunity to have an impact. This November, One Worlders at Martin Luther King Elementary School worked together to make an impact in their community. The One Worlders partnered with their PTA to host a Thanksgiving food drive.

The One World Clubs at MLK Elementary School in Wyandanch, NY collected donations of food from their community and created food baskets. The One Worlders worked together to decorate the boxes and prepare them to be donated to families-in- need in the Wyandanch community.  All together, they were able to provide 25 families with baskets of food for Thanksgiving!
