Building Global Competence Through International Classroom Partnerships This initiative is designed for students approximately 11–12 years old (U.S. Grade 6) and seeks to connect classrooms from diverse cultures and countries through meaningful international learning experiences. Join a select group of schools from around the world participating in One World's Global Connections Virtual Exchange Program.

HAS BEEN INVITED
Felix Festa Middle School in New York, USA, has made a significant investment in global learning by sponsoring this initiative for sixth-grade students (ages 11–12) as part of its Future Ready Global Competence Program.
As a result, a select number of international schools will have the opportunity to participate as official partner schools at no cost.
We are intentionally building a diverse network of schools representing different cultures, languages, and perspectives because we believe our global network is one of our greatest strengths.
Your students are not simply joining a program.
They are becoming part of a global community of learners, educators, and future leaders working together to build understanding across borders.

Virtual Exchange Sessions
3 Facilitated Zoom Sessions (45 minutes each)

One international classroom paired with a classroom from Felix Festa Middle School
THE GLOBAL CONNECTIONS EXPERIENCE
A Six-Week Global Learning Journey
Students participate in three facilitated virtual exchange sessions over six weeks.
Zoom Session 1
Students meet their international peers and learn about one another’s schools and communities.
Zoom Session 2
Students explore culture, traditions, and perspectives through guided discussion and collaborative activities.
Zoom Session 3
Students imagine the future together and reflect on their role in creating a better world.
Each 45-minute session is facilitated by the One World team and designed to maximize student interaction, communication, and relationship-building.
