2023
A Community of Learning & Practice:
Climate Change & Education
One World’s Communities of Learning and Practice are back!
Building from last year, this year we will focus on Climate Change and Education. Teachers will first hear from an esteemed professional in the sphere, with time to engage in conversations with those professionals. Then, teachers will have the opportunity to collaborate with one another to not only share practices with one another but collaborate with one another to create learning opportunities for their students within the classroom.
The 2022 cohort evaluated how climate change is taught in schools in various communities around the world, including the communities in which members reside, through the preparation and distribution of a short survey for teachers, educators, and students to complete.
