One World is a global education not-for-profit organization that helps youth and individuals around the world develop the necessary skills for the 21st Century: Global competence, financial readiness and technology readiness.
Through its global classroom, One World provides a range of products and services that supplement traditional education with student-centered, competency-based learning and focuses on improving communication, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking skills for future success.
The One World Youth Club is a 25-week program that promotes the ideals of global competence, character education and service learning. One World provides curriculum guidebooks, Club advisor training, on-going customized program support, and access to the One World global community. Students finish our program recognizing they are positive forces of change in the world. Clubs devoted specifically in the areas of Financial Readiness and Technology Readiness are also available.
Join the effort to become climate neutral! The One World team can guide your school as you calculate your carbon footprint and your energy usage with offsets through the United Nations certified emissions reductions. Participation in One World’s sustainability programs includes carbon emissions measurement and monitoring, carbon neutral offset programs, and Eco-friendly activities and learning.
School Assemblies Program
The One World assemblies program exposes students at all grade levels to global competence through assembly programs and follow-up classroom discussion on a range of selected topics such as: Bullying, Current Events, Stereotypes and Global Citizenship to name a few.
School-Wide Program for Global Competence
Our professional development team works directly with your teachers and leadership teams to embed global competence into your existing curriculum across all disciplines. A pathway to global competence certification for students is also available. Our school-wide program has rolled out to 15 schools impacting 10,000 students.
The One World Network spans 10 countries and 5 continents from the US, Mexico and South America, to the UK, Africa and China. Your classroom can connect with and learn from students from around the world on service learning projects and sustainable development programs.
Sustainable Development Programs
One World works with organizations around the world that address the agreed upon 17 global sustainable development goals of the United Nations that include world peace, hunger, poverty, equality, clean oceans, and the environment. Ask for more information.
