• Honorable Matthew S. Collier Board Chairman

    Originally from Michigan, Mr. Collier served as an Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army, held major elective public office, and has worked in the private sector for over 20 years. Matt holds degrees from the United States Military Academy at West Point, as well as from Harvard University.

    Following his graduation from West Point, and subsequent to his six years of service in the military, Mr. Collier served as the Chief of Staff for a U.S. Congressman, and was then elected as the youngest big city “strong” Mayor in the United States. He served as Mayor of Flint, Michigan from 1987 to 1991 in the capacity of Chief Executive Officer.

  • Rozlyn Igwe Carvin

    Rozlyn Carvin is the co-founder of One World United & Virtuous. She holds a B.A from Southern Connecticut State University as well as an L.L.B. in Law from the University of London.  In 2002, Rozlyn is a proud member of Gray’s Inn, one of the four legal guilds in England in which all qualified Barristers must maintain membership.

    Rozlyn is an active participant in the Port Chester and Rye Brook community, serving on the Boards of several organizations.

  • Frank Ferrara

    Frank Ferrara spent 25 years in international trade, building a steel exporting company that focused on selling American product for the food service industry. Operations included warehousing, processing, logistics and financing.

    In building that business he traveled extensively worldwide and has lived overseas. After exiting that business Mr. Ferrara focused his attention on managing his own funds and dedicating his time to private charities and the Village of Port Chester.

    He has a BA from Boston College in government, has two adult daughters, is married to his wife JoAnne and resides in Port Chester, NY.

  • Joseph Kwasniewski

    Joseph (Joe) Kwasniewski is the Chief Executive Officer of the Port Chester Carver Center. Joe joined Carver Center as a Facilities Manager in March 2009 and now serves as the CEO. His responsibilities included diagnosing and rectifying structural issues with the building, and serving as a Project Manager for current and upcoming renovations.

    During his time at Carver he has held a number of roles in program management, finance, and development. In December of 2013 Joe was named Chief Executive Officer by The Board of Directors. Under Joe’s leadership Carver Center has grown by approximately 95% percent (from an operating budget of $2.2M to $4.3M) and has substantially increased the number of individuals served.

    He began his journalism career in 1988 at ABC News while still attending college. He joined CBS News in October 1991, covering all elections and contributing to nearly all breaking news military coverage.
