A New Twist on Study Circles

A New Twist on Study Circles

We’re taking a new look at the study circle model as part of our ongoing commitment to adult education and awareness on global issues. Rather than asking for a five week commitment with a set group of people we are going to offer an ongoing discussion group every other Monday evening. Those of you who have already been through a study circle will find many new topics along with some of the “greatest hits” from previous groups. Invite a friend. This is a great way to introduce people to One World. If you let us know you’re coming we will send you some background material in advance. Or, you can just drop in and join the discussion. There is no “homework” requirement.

Our first meeting will be on Monday, August 13th at 7pm and our topic will be what the Economist called “The most abused word of the 21st century- Globalization.”

Our second meeting will be on Monday, August 27th at 7pm and our topic will be ‘Human Nature: Competition or Cooperation?’

Please sign-up in advance if you would like to receive a pre-reading for the discussion. Email or call Jack at 914-305-3200.

All our meetings will be held at One World, 163 North Main Street, Port Chester, NY, Suite 203. Light snacks will be served.
