What can Germany teach the US about economic growth

While Europe burns, it is the German economy which is burning – or, at least, surviving the global downturn better than any other country, including the US.  With unemployment at a 20-year low, is there something about creating jobs that Germany can teach the United States?

Thomas Kleine-Brockhoff writes in the commentary pages of the Christian Science Monitor that the US is missing the economic boat by passing on the “efficiency revolution” that is tranforming economies and “making countries and businesses rich.”
