Lack of confidence threatens global financial system

In today’s interlinked and integrated world, no country is an island. In fact, a financial crisis in one part of the world is capable of causing severe stress   almost everywhere else. With the global financial system facing a perfect storm of default, contracting credit, and diminishing confidence among citizens in nations rich and poor, there is a dire need for leadership.
